‘British Hustle’ (The original full length version of the film)

This is the full length unedited version of the film ‘British Hustle’ directed by Curtis Clark. It shows what the underground soul scene was really like back in the late 70’s. Northern soul has received a lot of exposure in the media and press but ‘British Hustle’ is one of the few films that shows how vibrant and energetic the southern soul scene was at the height of its popularity. It also shows the difference between what was happening in the clubs in central London and what was happening in the clubs in Essex.
